Men's and Women's Basketball Schedules Announced
PAXTON, Mass.—The Anna Maria College basketball programs are pleased to announce the 2015-16 schedules.
2015-16 MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
The men's basketball team will face a number of familiar foes in 2015-16. They open the season at the Babson Tournament, where they will face Bridgewater State on the opening day. November features annual matchups with local rivals, Becker and Clark. The team also plays its annual matchup with nationally-ranked Amherst in the first month.
Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play begins in December with a 6:00 p.m. home game against Norwich. On December 30th and 31st, the team will travel to the Trinity Holiday Tournament along with Pine Manor and Delaware Valley.
Anna Maria will face the defending GNAC Champions, the Falcons of Albertus Magnus, at home on Tuesday, January 5 to open 15-game conference stretch to conclude the season.
2015-16 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
The Anna Maria women's basketball team will play their first game of 2015-16 on the road at Elms before hosting a five-game home stand from Nov. 17th to Dec. 1st. The team will face local opponents Becker, Nichols, Clark and Fitchburg State during this stretch.
On December 4th and 5th the team will travel to Wesleyan University for a three-team tournament featuring RPI. The team will also participate in the Clark Holiday Tournament on Dec. 30th and 31st alongside Southern Maine and Framingham State.
The ACMATS open GNCA play on Wednesday, January 13th in a 7:00 p.m. home game against Lasell.
