Lady AMCATS Drop GNAC Match-up

Newton, MA - The Lasell College women's lacrosse team secured their fifth consecutive victory, defeating visiting Anna Maria, 22-1. Eight Lasers scored on the afternoon, led by Ashley Slattery's (Weymouth, MA) six goals. Sandy Acosta (Lawrence, MA) scored the lone goal for Anna Maria. Lasell improved to 5-1 on the year and 2-0 in GNAC action, while Anna Maria fell to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in GNAC play.

Alexa Katsigianis picked up the win for Lasell, holding Anna Maria to one goal on the afternoon. Marlena Donjacour (San Francisco, CA) stopped 13 shots while taking the loss in goal for AMC.

Rebecca Stanton (Agawam, MA) tallied four goals and four assists for Lasell, who also got two goals apiece from Britney Wuorio (Bolton, MA), Jen Lemoine (Trumbull, CT), Bridget Ryan (Chaatham, NJ), Bri Daley (Watertown, CT), and Caitlyn Brecher Cheshire, CT).

Anna Maria will return to action on March 29th when they host Colby-Sawyer College, while up next for Lasell will be a home game versus the University of Maine-Farmington Sunday March 25th at 1pm.
