Men’s Hockey Closes Out The Season With Tie Against St. Anselm 3-3

AUBURN, MA: The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team hosted the St. Anselm Hawks at the Horgan Arena in Auburn, MA for senior night. The AMCATS tied the game 3-3.

THE BASICS:

• Date: Friday, February 10, 2023
• Score: St. Anselm 3, Anna Maria 3
• Records: St. Anselm Hawks 16-9-4 | Anna Maria AMCATS 10-13-3

HIGHLIGHTS

• After a scoreless first period the AMCATS are the first on the board with a goal from Brandon Della Paolera. He was assisted by Matthew Byrne and Guillaume Coulombe.
• A late goal from the Hawks tied the game up at one leading into the third period of the game.
• Della Paolera found his second goal of the night early in the third period to give the AMCATS the lead again. Assisted by Pearce Baker and Bryden Sinclair.
• Seven minutes into the third period Coulombe put away the AMCATS third goal taking the lead yet again. 
• After holding off the Hawks for almost 7 minutes the AMCATS couldn't hold on much longer giving up the game tying goal with seven minutes left to play.
• After a five minute three on three overtime the game came to a close with the AMCATS tying the Hawks 3-3.
