Men's Lacrosse Supports HEADstrong Foundation

PAXTON, Mass.--This fall the Men's Lacrosse team has been growing out their mustache's in support of the HEADstrong Foundation's Lax Stache Madness. This foundation collects donations, no matter how big or small, in an effort to improve the lives of families devastated by the costs and realities of cancer.

HEADstrong Foundation is an essential resource that serves the cancer community by granting direct financial assistance to those financially impacted as a result of the disease. Just a few of the ways this foundation puts donations to work are: providing complimentary long-term housing and amenities for those traveling to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for cancer related treatments through Nick's House™, funding cancer research through the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma research fund, providing fresh groceries to patients being discharged from lengthy hospital stays, delivering comfort kits to newly hospitalized patients preparing for treatment or transplant, and lending an arm of support through their peer to peer advocacy group.
