Men's Lacrosse Falls to Monks in GNAC Road Opener

PORTLAND, Maine - Senior defenseman Nathan Batallas (Templeton, Mass.) scored his first goal of the season to start the second quarter, but his tally was not enough as the Anna Maria men's lacrosse team suffered a 17-1 loss to the Monks of St. Joseph's College of Maine in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action. 

Brandon Boutin led the Monks with three goals, while Brendan Barrett finished the game with two goals and five assists for a game-high seven points. Eleven different members of the Monks' squad netted goals.
