Dalbec, Moran Sweep NECC Weekly Awards, Again

Paxton, Mass. – For the second time in five weeks, sophomore Kylie Dalbec (Portland, Maine) and freshman Kaitlyn Moran (Leicester, Mass.) have swept the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) field hockey weekly awards selections as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Dalbec scored her third nod of the season for NECC Player of the Week while Moran was recognized for the second time as NECC Rookie of the Week.

Dalbec posed two goals and three assists over the last seven days for the AMCATS. The center forward dished out a pair of assists in a 4-1 win over Becker College and in a Saturday matinee vs. Wheelock Dalbec notched the game's first two goals and added a helper in a 9-1 victory.

Moran notched 10 points (4 goals, 2 assists) for Anna Maria in conference play last week. She tallied a natural hat-trick, including the game-winner, on the road at Becker College. Katie added another marker and a pair of assists in the home victory over Wheelock.

Anna Maria returns to action on Tuesday, October 22 when they host Bay Path College in an NECC contest starting at 4pm.
