Golden Bears Skate Past Men's Hockey

PAXTON, Mass: The Final this evening from Horgan Arena was 6-1, in favor of Western New England University over the Anna Maria Men's Hockey Team.

The Golden Bears (5-11) were able to put in two goals each period on a total of 43 shots. Andrew Green and Matt O'Dea led the charge for WNE as they found the back of the net twice in the contest. Evan Lindquist made his presence felt as he racked up three assists throughout the contest.

The AMCATS (4-13-4) lone goals came in the first period off of a beautiful move to get the puck past the outstretched glove of the goaltender by Patrick Manning (Messena, NY). Gavin Proeh (Highland Park, IL) and Connor McIntosh (Spokane, WA) were both credited with the assists on the play.

Kyle Carducci allowed just the 1 goal, and accumulated 30 saves.

Brendan Boncore (Oakland, MI) allowed 5 goals, and tallied 37 saves.
