Click Named GNAC All-Conference, Denver, Frias Earn Sportsmanship Awards
Paxton, Mass – Junior guard Anthony Click (Springfield, Mass.) has been named a First Team All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference selection as announced by the GNAC conference office.
Click, who has started all 28 games for the AMCATS, has led AMC in all major statistical categories this season. The junior is averaging 18.4 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game. On Jan 28, 2012 Click scored his 1,000 point for Anna Maria. He had a career high 33 points vs. Fitchburg State and was named GNAC Player of the Week on January 9th. Click is ranked in the top 10 in GNAC statistics in scoring, steals, rebounds, free throw percentage and blocks.
Joining Click with post-season accolades are teammate Luis Frias and women's basketball player Brooke Denver. Frias and Denver earned spots on the 2012 GNAC Sportsmanship team.
