Small Earns ECFC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

Paxton, Mass. – For the second time this season Anna Maria College senior running back Robert Small (Sleepy Hollow, NY) has been named the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Small rushed for 225 yards on 29 carries and three touchdowns in Anna Maria's 42-14 victory over Castleton. Small had TD runs of 44-yards and 3-yards for back-to-back scores for AMC to push the lead to 21-0 in the first half. He added a 4-yard scamper late in the 4th quarter to put the game out of reach. Small has now amassed exactly 1,000 yards on the season for the AMCATS in just 7 games.

Anna Maria returns to action on Saturday afternoon when the travel to Washington, D.C. to take on Gallaudet University, kick-off is slated for 12:00pm.
