Concepcion Tabbed BSN Offensive Player of the Week
Paxton, Mass – Senior wide receiver Dom Concepcion (Middlebury, Conn.) was named one of the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) Division III Offensive Players of the Week. Concepcion was just one of six players selected that included two quarterbacks, two running backs and two wide receivers.
He set two new AMCAT record for receiving yards with 236 and receptions with 17 in a 28-22 loss at Husson University. The senior wide receiver caught a 5-yard touchdown pass for a score in the second quarter. He converted a 4th and 11 with a 29-yard catch to set up a field goal score and was on the receiving end of a 52-yard strike from quarterback Santino Simone. Dom finished the day with averaging 13.9 yards per catch.
The AMCATS have a bye week this Saturday but return to action on Saturday September 29th when the travel to Gallaudet University for a noontime kickoff.
