Paxton, MA – The Anna Maria College football team battled back from a 22-0 deficit with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter to defeat the Husson Eagles in a triple overtime thriller by a score of 44-42 today at AMCAT Field in the season finale for both teams.

LEICESTER, MASS. – A balanced rushing attack and outstanding front-seven defensive play lead Becker College to a 27-7 win against visiting Anna Maria College in ECFC football action on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field. It was the first time in the program’s history that Becker has won three games as the Hawks run their record to 3-6 with a 2-4 conference record. The AMCATS of Anna Maria drop to 1-8 and 0-6 in the ECFC.

The two teams’ defenses initially held firm, but unfortunately the AMCATS defense started to falter, giving the Spartans a 54-33 victory.
