Rodriques enters his fourth year on the staff at Anna Maria College as the Pitching Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. In his first year the pitching staff had the lowest team ERA in the past decade while posting the Pitcher of the year, Rookie of the year, and had an All-Region pitcher for the first time in program history. They also had 3 All-conference pitchers including one on the All-Rookie team. 

In his second year they continued to improve lowering the team ERA by a half a run and boasting 3 All-Region and 3 All-Conference pitchers. He also oversaw the development of one of his pitchers setting the single season strikeout record with 88 punchouts and Graduate student Jack Marzec setting the All-Time career strikeout record with 323 career K’s. In addition to these tremendous individual honors the staff collectively posted program bests for K/9, (9.90), Season ERA (5.34), and Season BAA (.268). 

In his third year overseeing the development and individual programing for the AMCATS pitching staff they continued to progress into one of the most powerful pitching staffs in the nation which saw Nick Choate set the single season strikeout record (90) which marked the second time in two years a member of Rodruques’s pitching staff set this record.  As a staff they ranked tied for 11th nationally in Division III in K/9 (9.5) which is the highest any staff in program history has finished ranked nationally.

Not only have the AMCATS seen tremendous growth and development on the mound since he became the Pitching Coach in the summer of 2021, but as someone who attended Anna Maria College himself, and with a program wide emphasis on academics Coach Rodriques is also very proud of the fact 42 members of the baseball program have received GNAC Academic All-Conference honors in the last 3 seasons.

In addition to his role at Anna Maria, Rodriques serves as an assistant program director for Energy Baseball in Worcester, MA. His roles consist of management, player development, and leading recruiting. He also advises his high school athletes and helps them continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level.
