2019 Men's Hockey Preview

PAXTON, MA - The Anna Maria men's ice hockey team returns to the ice on Friday and Saturday, November 1st and 2nd hosting Chatham at 5:40 PM and 3:40 PM. The AMCATS will look to create momentum throughout the season and strengthen the program.

WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO

Anna Maria's offense returns their top three goal scorers, Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) (seven goals), Gavin Proeh (Highland Park, IL) (six goals), and Patrick Manning (Messana, NY) (five goals).
The AMCATS top goalie, Brendan Boncore (Oakland, MI) also returns as he led the AMCATS with 364 saves, 89 percent save percentage, and a 3.70 Goals Against Average.
Along with their top three goal scorers returning, the squad brings back their top five point-getters, Sitzman (19), Sam Cyr-Ledoux (Montreal, QC, Canada) (12), Manning (11), Nick Kukuris (Littleton, CO) and Proeh were tied with 10 points.
This year will be the second full season of NCAA play for the AMCATS.

WHAT GAMES TO WATCH

Anna Maria will take on four Division II schools: versus Franklin Pierce (Tuesday, November 12th at 5:40 PM), at Saint Anselm (Saturday, January 4th at 4:00 PM), at Assumption (Saturday, January 18th at 7:00 PM), and at Stonehill (Saturday, February 8th at 5:10 PM).
The AMCATS will be on the road all of December including a matchup against last season's first-ever game against Post on Saturday, December 7th at 2:30 PM.
Two out of the 'Cats final four-games will be home contests (Friday, February 7th at 5:40 PM versus Albertus Magnus and Tuesday, February 11th at 5:40 PM against Post).
