Creamer Garners GNAC Rookie of the Week

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria freshman Joshua Creamer (Groveland, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Creamer tossed a complete game 9-0 shutout of Rivier University on Sunday afternoon. The freshman scattered seven hits over seven inning with three strikeouts and one walk. Creamer lowered his era to a miniscule 0.75 with his second win of the season. He was 3-for-4 with an RBI from the dish on Sunday as well. For the week, Creamer batted .389 with seven hits including two doubles with an RBI and three stolen bases over a six game span.

The AMCATS are back in action tomorrow when they host Norwich University in a GNAC doubleheader at Clark University, first pitch is slated for 1:00 p.m.
