WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Anna Maria College women's tennis team dropped 8-1 to the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Monday afternoon.

With the loss the, the AMCATS move to 3-8 on the season and 0-5 in the conference, while the win improves the Blue Jays to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in GNAC play.

SINGLES

Anna Maria's lone victory of the day came from Jess Gautieri (North Attleboro, Mass.) at No. 1 singles as she went 6-3, 3-6, and 1-0 (10-7) over Blue Jay's Rebecca Mauri (Meriden, Conn.).
