2015 Football Schedule Announced
PAXTON, Mass.—Anna Maria College head football coach Vincent Sinagra has announced the 2015 football schedule. The AMCATS will play a full Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) schedule in addition to non-conference games against new opponents—Curry, Nichols, and Coast Guard.
The AMCATS will open the 2015 campaign with a Thursday night game on the road against the Bears of the United States Coast Guard Academy on September 3rd. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
Anna Maria will host back-to-back Saturday non-conference games on the 12th and 19th. The AMCATS will face off with the Bison on Nichols on the 12th before taking on the Colonels of Curry College on the 19th.
Following a bye on the last weekend of September, Anna Maria will open ECFC action on the road at SUNY Maritime in a 2:00 p.m. game. The team will host Husson on Saturday, October 10th at 2:00 p.m. before embarking on a two-game road streak at Mount Ida and Norwich on the 17th and 24th. The team will culminate October with a 3:00 p.m. game against Castleton on October 31st.
The AMCATS will be in action twice in November, first making the long trip to Gallaudet for a noon matchup on Saturday, November 7th before concluding the regular season in a 1:00 p.m. home game against crosstown rival, Becker.
The Anna Maria football team is entering its seventh season next fall and its fourth season under Sinagra's leadership.
