Norwich Pulls Away From Women’s Hoops
NORTHFIELD, VT: The Anna Maria College women's basketball team lost 52-37 at Norwich University on Wednesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Northfield, Vermont.

THE GAME WAS DECIDED WHEN:
- With 2:34 left in the second quarter, Anna Maria freshman forward Marinique Reddin (Tampa, FL) buried a three-pointer to put the AMCATS up 22-20, their first lead of the game. That score would hold going into halftime. The Cadets went on a 13-2 run to pull away late in the third quarter, and the visitors would not challenge again.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Reddin led all scorers with 18 points, six rebounds and three steals while shooting eight-of-thirteen from the floor. It is the tenth time in eleven games that Reddin has scored in double-digits.
- Anna Maria senior guard Julitza Delgado (Southbridge, MA) added six points and two rebounds.
- Norwich freshman guard Haley Brewster (Virginia Beach, VA) led the Cadets with 15 points and five assists.
- Norwich senior guard Hannah Stitey (Westminster, MD) finished with 13 points and a game-high nine boards.
- Three-point shooting doomed the AMCATS, as they hit on just two of 25 from behind the arc.
