Brandon Barnard joined the Anna Maria Football program coaching staff in the spring of 2022.

Barnard will serve as a defensive assistant coach for the AMCATS. He comes to Anna Maria from Fitchburg State, where he served as the teams' Recruiting Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach for the fall 2021 season. Barnard has previous stops at Saint Anselm College (Fall 2020), along with having two stints in high school at St. John's Prep in Danvers, Massachusetts as an assistant coach where the team won the 2019 MIAA D1 State Championship. He previously coached at Windham High School (Windham, N.H.) from 2016 through 2019.

A 2013 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Sport Management and Business Studies, he received a master's degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in 2018.
