Bettano, Ricard of AMCAT Football Set to Attend Dream Bowl

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.—Senior running back Christopher Bettano (Lawrence, Mass.) and senior wide receiver William Ricard (Billerica, Mass.) of the Anna Maria College football team have accepted invitations to the fourth annual Dream Bowl.

The Dream Bowl will be played January 18, 2016 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, Va.  The college football all-star game is a showcase of the best NCAA Division III players from across the country.  The game, and the series of events held over Martin Luther King Weekend, is a celebration of the excellence, commitment, and sacrifice made by the players and their families. Scouts from the NFL as well as several CFL scouts will be on hand to watch the best D-III players go through an NFL–style combine and game.

Bettano and Ricard join a growing list of AMCAT Dream Bowl attendees. Past participants from Anna Maria include Jamal Mitchell, Jordan Koehler, William Bishop, and Kevin Card. Koehler, now an assistant coach at Anna Maria, will make the trip to Virginia Beach again this year to work as a defensive assistant coach.

For more information on the Dream Bowl, visit dreambowl.net or follow the event on Twitter at @TheDreamBowl. The game will be televised live on the ASN Network.
