Card, Bishop Participate in 2015 Dream Bowl
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Senior defensemen Kevin Card (Deer Park, N.Y.) and William Bishop (Uxbridge, Mass.) attended the third annual Dream Bowl this past weekend, held at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.
Both AMCATS played for the blue team, alongside fellow Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) student-athletes Al Georgio and Dane Pallotto from Norwich.
Anna Maria assistant coach Jordan Koehler, a Dream Bowl alum, also attended the event and served as a defensive assistant coach for the blue team.
Also representing the ECFC was AJ McRea from Gallaudet, who played for the red team. McRea's squad was the eventual winner, claiming a close 28-27 win.
In addition to team-related activities, Card, Bishop and the rest of the Dream Bowl participants spent their weekend participating in a combine in front of NFL and CFL scouts and attending the Dream Bowl banquet on Saturday.
