Men’s Tennis Drops Season Opener vs. Wentworth

The Anna Maria College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision against Wentworth in a non-conference contest at Paxton Sports Centre on Wednesday evening, in the season opener for both teams.

Sophomore Dillon George (Holden, Mass.) paced Anna Maria, posting the lone win for AMC with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles. He also teamed with Calvin Weeks (Glen Ellyn, Il) at the top doubles position for a well fought 8-6 loss to Wentworth's tandem of James Dunn and Matthew Smith.

AMC will return to action on Friday, March 21^st when they travel to Albertus Magnus College for a GNAC match-up starting at 3:30 p.m
