Barnes Named ECFC Defensive Player of Week
Paxton, Mass. - Junior Troy Barnes (Hamden, Conn.) was named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Barnes picked up a fumbled Maine Maritime ball on the Anna Maria 1-yard line and rumbled for team record, 99 yard touchdown return, at the time making it a 13-7 game. Barnes also had 4 unassisted tackles with a total of 7 for the game.
