Men's Cross Country Finishes in 5th at Tri-State
Lincoln, RI – The Anna Maria men's cross country program finished 5th of 5 teams Saturday at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI. Mitchell finished first overall followed by Worcester State, CCRI and Clark University.
Matt Moquin paced the AMCATS with a finish in 17th place posting a time of 29:49 over the 8k course. Junior Dave Sheridian (Auburn, Mass.) finished just 4 placed behind in 21st and a time of 31:13. William Sangster and Bryan Goodell finished in 29th and 30th respectively with times of 32:55 and 33:06.
Dan Freeman crossed the finish line in 37th place with a time of 34:49, as Tom Horan came in 42nd (37:39) and Ray Savignano rounded out the top seven in 43rd (38:28).
