Cross Country Competes in Worcester Meet

Paxton, Mass (9-24-11) – The AMC men's cross country team finished fifth in the Worcester City Invitational on Saturday, competing against other Worcester-area teams. The AMCATS finished with 123 points on the day, WPI won the Invitational with 20 points.

Sophomore Matt Moquin (Lakeville, MA) was the AMCATS' top runner finishing in 33^rd with a time of 32:32 in the five mile run. Teammate Nick Hummel was right on Moquin's heels with a time of 33:00 in 35^th place.

They were followed by Dan Sanches (45^th/34:25), Dave Sheridian (Auburn, MA – 49^th/35:22), Bryan Goodell (51^st/37:27), William Sangster (52^nd/37:50), Dan Freeman (56^th/38:41), Nathaniel Bachman (60^th/41:42) and Tom Horan (62^nd/44:49).
