Catching up with Cross Country

Paxton, Mass. – The men’s cross country team has been busy hitting the pavement for the summer road race season. Recently, Captain Dave Sheridan (Auburn, Mass.) participated in Kyleigh's Cure Run in Braintree, Mass. placing third place in his division while teammate Nick Hummel (Wilbraham, MA) finished second at the American International College Run for Education.

PAXTON, Mass. (03.22.12) – Anna Maria College’s Athletic Director Stanley Vieira has announced the hiring of Michael Schroeder as the new Head Coach of Women’s Soccer and John Nicol the new Head Coach for both the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams.

Boston, Mass. – The Men’s cross country team placed 13th out of 19 teams competing at the Mayor’s Cup races on Sunday afternoon at Franklin Park.

Springfield, MA --- The AMCATS men's cross country team came in 16th at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday, running with 15 other programs from throughout the region. WPI took the top spot placing three runners in the top seven, and seven runners among the top twenty.

Lincoln, RI – The Anna Maria men's cross country program finished 5th of 5 teams Saturday at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI. Mitchell finished first overall followed by Worcester State, CCRI and Clark University.
