Women’s Ice Hockey Fall Short Against Knights

COLMAR, PA: The Anna Maria College women's traveled to face off with the Arcadia University Knights on Friday evening for a non-conference matchup at the Hatfield Ice Arena.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Senior goaltender Sam Dahill (Littleton, MA) stood on her head to keep her team in the game stopping 43 of 44 shots faced in the tough-luck loss.
  • The AMCATS entered the third period trailing by a single goal and saw their efforts to climb back into the game stonewalled by the Knight's goaltender Hannah Bergeron who matched Dahill's third-period effort, with both goalies stopping 10 shots.
  • The Knight's Haylee Kos was responsible for both of the night's goals. Scoring both goals at even strength. First in with just over seven minutes remaining in the second period with an assist credited to Berklee Hibbard. The second goal was an empty-net goal with less than two minutes left in regulation that sealed the Knight's win. Torrey Campbell was credited with the assist on the second goal.
