Mitchell Named to BSN DIII Team of the Week

Paxton, Mass. – After a record setting performance last week, senior Jamal Mitchell was named to the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) National Division III Team of the Week.

The senior placekicker connected on four field goals and was a perfect three-for-three on extra points in a 54-33 loss to Castleton State on Saturday afternoon.

Mitchell hit field goals from 40, 24 and 21 (2) yards setting the school record for most field goals made and attempted in a game.

Mitchell is the second AMCAT recognized by BSN, wide receiver Dom Concepcion was honored earlier in the season.

The AMCATS return to action on Saturday when they host Norwich University at 1:00 pm.
