Men’s Tennis Earns GNAC Sportsmanship Award, Dillon Named to First Team

Sophomore Dillon George (Holden, Mass.) of the Anna Maria College men's tennis team has been named to the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference First team while the team garnered the GNAC All-Conference Sportsmanship Award as announced by the conference.

 

Dillon posted a 9-1 overall record and was unbeaten in league play (3-10) as the AMCATS No.1 player. Paired with his doubles partner Calvin Weeks at the No. 1 slot the tandem was 5-5 in the 2014 campaign.

 

Weeks earned a spot on the GNAC All-Conference Sportsmanship team for Anna Maria.

 

Anna Maria finished the 2014 season with a 1-10 overall record.
