Paxton, Mass. – The Anna Maria College men's tennis team posted an 8-1 victory over Lesley University on non-conference action on Monday night at Paxton Sports Centre.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of Dillon George (Holden, Mass.) and Calvin Weeks (Glen Ellyn, Il) earned three points for the AMCATS. The duo opened the match with an 8-0 victory over LU's Harrison Sidell (Newhall, Calif.) and Trevor Martin (Whitinsville, Mass.) and then notched 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play.

AMC's Tim Patenaude (Monson, Mass.) and George Kiritsy (Holden, Mass.) combined for an 8-6 nod over Billy Baker (Sacramento, Calif.) and Chris Hunt (San Diego, Calif.) at the No. 2 doubles flight.

Kiritsy and freshman Tyler Crabb (Wareham, Mass.) each posted singles victories for Anna Maria.

The AMCATS return to action on Wednesday afternoon when they will travel to Curry College for a non-conference match-up at 3:00 p.m. Lesley will host Becker College on Wednesday in a New England Collegiate Conference tilt starting at 7:30 p.m.
