Cross Country Competes at Western New England University Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Anna Maria College senior Julieanne Hartley was the AMCATS' top overall finisher with a time of 24:57.81 in the women's 5-kilometer race in Saturday's Western New England University cross country invitational in Springfield, Mass.

Westfield State University's Amy Trainique was the fastest overall finisher in the field of 191 runners with a time of 19:12. The Owls won the event as a team as well with a combined score of 30, placing four runners in the top five, followed by WPI (42) and Clark University (97).

Nicole Luce was the next AMCATS' finisher (26:16.94) followed by Rose Murphy (26:33.69), Lauren Sale (28:10.03), Rebecca Young (28:24.88), Lissa McClennan (30:56.50), and Megan Goddu (31:40.47).
