BOSTON, MA. – On Saturday, October 14th the Anna Maria College Men's Soccer team traveled to Boston, MA to take on the Emmanuel College Saints for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS won the game 3-0.
The AMCATS started things early with a goal just fifteen minutes into the game after a pass from Nathan Medeiros found the boot of Gabe Tellez. The remainder of the first half would go scoreless as the AMCATS fended off a frenzy of opportunities from the Saints. Valter Santiago would make four stops to keep the game 1-0 in favor of the AMCATS as the half came to a close.
The AMCATS wasted no time at the start of the second half, tacking on their second goal of the day as Matthew Pearce buried the ball off a pass from Hezekiah Adeyeye just ten minutes into the half. Almost five minutes later, Adeyeye would find Rubelsi Moran for the AMCATS third goal of the day making it a 3-0 game with 30 minutes left to play in the second half. Santiago would stop all three shots in the second half to help the AMCATS secure the 3-0 victory over the saints.

- The AMCATS have won two games in a row.
- Rubelsi Moran scored his sixth goal of the season. Moran also has a goal in each of his last four games played.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Wednesday, October 18th where they will head to Boston, MA to take on the Regis College Pride for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. Opening kickoff is at 6:00pm.
