STANDISH, ME: The Anna Maria College men's soccer team opened the postseason when they traveled to St. Joseph's College (ME) on Saturday afternoon for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) quarterfinal at the Daly Field Complex.

HIGHLIGHTS
- For the second straight game, the AMCATS spent the majority of the game trying to hold off one of the GNAC's top-scoring offenses. It was another long game for the AMCATS defense as they were quadrupled up in shots 28-7. The Monks even held a 13-3 edge in shots on goal and a 12-1 advantage on corner kicks.
- Graduate student goalkeeper Valter Santiago recorded eight saves, giving him 24 saves in his last three contests.
