Wildcats Thwart Men’s Soccer

PROVIDENCE, RI: The Anna Maria College men's soccer team traveled to Johnson and Wales University on Wednesday afternoon for Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletics Complex.

• Goalkeeper Valter Santiago (Norwood, MA) recorded nine saves on 13 shots faced.
• The AMCATS lone shot on goal was taken by Hezekiah Adeyeye (Woonsocket, RI) in the 51^st minute.
• Sophomore forward Oluwafifehan Badejo (Newark, DE) also had a shot that went off the crossbar.
• The Wildcats' goals were scored by Nick Gutekunst (6' and 80'), Carlos Andrade (13'), and Carlos Andrade (38').
