Men’s Soccer Draws with Colby-Sawyer

PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria College men's soccer team welcomed Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Caparso Field.

THE BASICS:

HIGHLIGHTS

• The AMCATS were the first ones to score when Hezekiah Adeyeye (Woonsocket, RI) fired a shot from about 30 yards out in the 34^th minute. It was Adeyeye's second goal of the season. Freshman defender Brett Smith (Rochester, MA) was credited with his first collegiate assist on the goal.
• Goalkeeper Valter Santiago (Norwood, MA) recorded five saves on six shots faced.
• The Chargers' goal was scored by Finn Husband in the 58^th minute. Callum Buchanan fired a shot that Santiago made a nice save on but could not control the rebound that bounced to Husband in front of the wide-open left side of the goal.
