Moran Stays Hot As Men’s Soccer Falls To Chargers

NEW LONDON, NH : The Anna Maria College men's soccer team lost 3-1 at Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anna Maria freshman midfielder Rubelsi Moran (Holden, MA) scored his fifth goal in the last last games for the AMCATS, finding the back of the net in the 78^th minute with an assist to junior forward Hezekiah Adeyeye (Woonsocket, RI). In just his rookie season, Moran is leading the team in goals (eight) and points (22).
• Anna Maria freshman goalkeeper David Flores (San Antonio, TX) tallied five saves in net.
• Colby-Sawyer had goals from Callum Buchanan, Braeden Carleton and Conner McKearin.

Anna Maria will be back on the field on Wednesday when they host Saint Joseph's College of Maine in a 7:00 p.m. match.
