Men’s Soccer Comes Up Short At Regis

- WESTON, MA : The Anna Maria College men's soccer team lost 2-1 at Regis College on Saturday afternoon in Weston in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anna Maria took a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute on an own goal, but goals by Regis' Diego Roman (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) in each half went unanswered.
• Anna Maria junior goalkeeper Kyle Sherman (Mount Laurel, NJ) was a force for the AMCATS in his first start of the season, finishing with nine saves on the day.
• Anna Maria freshman midfielder Rubelsi Moran (Holden, MA) paced the AMCATS with four shots on the day.
