Union Too Much For Men’s Soccer

- SCHENECTADY, NY : The Anna Maria College men's soccer team lost 7-1 at Union College on Wednesday evening in Schenectady, New York.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

 

  • Anna Maria freshman goalkeeper David Flores (San Antonio, TX) finished with 11 saves in net for the AMCATS, a career-high.
  • Anna Maria freshman midfielder Rubelsi Moran (Holden, MA) scored the AMCATS sole goal of the day in the 57th minute, the second goal of his collegiate career.
  • Union had goals from six different players: Junior Nate Boule led all scorers with two goals in today's contest. Senior Chris Muther, juniors Ryan Postlethwait and Evan Farr, sophomore Gonzalo Pascual-Sanchiz and first-year Diego Pascual-Sanchiz all added a goal each as well for Union, with Postlethwait and both Pascual-Sanchiz brothers netting their first collegiate goals.
