Cadets March Past Men’s Lacrosse

PAXTON, MA. – The Anna Maria Men's lacrosse team (2-10; 1-5) hosted the Norwich University Cadets (3-8; 2-3) at the Caparso Field in Paxton, MA for a GNAC Conference Matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 15-5.

The AMCATS were met at the start of the game with six goals from the Cadets before Ethan Quinn broke the silence putting up Anna Maria's first goal of the night off a feed from Aiden Foster.

After coming out of the first quarter behind the Cadets 7-1, the AMCATS were the first to strike in the second after Tommy Girard set up Hank Gittines for goal two of the afternoon. The AMCATS however were held scoreless until the fourth quarter going down 14-2.

Two quick goals from Gittines just over five minutes into the fourth quarter gave the AMCATS some life however it would not be enough to get them back into the game as Quinn buried the last goal for the AMCATS with just over six minutes left on the clock. The AMCATS closed out the game behind the Cadets 15-5.
