Men's Club Ice Hockey Advances To NEIHC Championship Game
Willington, FL...The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey club defeated Mass Maritime 9-2 in the New England Independent Hockey Conference (NEIHC) semifinals on Sunday, February 20 at the Babson Skating Rink.The AMCATS will face Babson on Friday, Feb. 25 at 8 pm at the Basbon Skating Rink.
Anna Maria led 3-1 after 20 minutes and exploded for 5 more goals in the second period to build an 8-1 lead after 60 minutes. Goalies Cam Powell and Elijiah Rapaport combined between the pipes for the win. Mason Eichmann led Anna Maria with two goals and seven other players scored a goal each. Brenden Patterson had a goal and two asists for the AMCATS.
