Men’s Ice Hockey Shuts Out Rivier 4-0

AUBURN, MA: The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team hosted the Rivier University Raiders on Friday, February 3rd at the Horgan Arena in Auburn, MA. The AMCATS won the game 4-0.

THE BASICS:

• Date: Friday, February 3, 2023

HIGHLIGHTS

• Two minutes into the first period the AMCATS were the first on the board with a goal from Guillaume Coulombe assisted by Carter Anderson. 
• Closing out the first twenty minutes of the game the AMCATS held the lead 1-0 over the Raiders.
• Coulombe found his second goal of the night half way through the second period with a power play goal to increase the AMCAT lead 2-0. He was assisted by Matthew Byrne.
• Anna Maria's third goal of the game came from Nolan Show who capitalized on a rebound from Cam Tobey. The AMCATS led 3-0 at the end of the second period.
• Tobey found his second point of the night with a goal to put the AMCATS up 4-0 over the Raiders with just over five minutes left to play in the third period.
• Closing the game out with a 4-0 victory over the Raiders goaltender Aiden Richardson posted a 31 save shut out.
