Men’s Hockey Caught In A Cat Fight Tied Up At 3

AUBURN, MA: On Saturday Night, the Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team hosted the Johnson and Wales Wildcats. The AMCATS tied 3-3.

THE BASICS:

• Date: Saturday ,December 3, 2022
• Score: Anna Maria 3, JWU 3
• Records: Anna Maria AMCATS 4-6-1 | JWU 0-10-1

HIGHLIGHTS

• The AMCATS started the game out with an early goal score by Cam Tobey assisted by Guillaume Coulombe and Brandon Della Paolera 4:10 into the first. 
• The Wildcats were quick to scratch back however, tying things up 12:03 into the period keeping the AMCATS on their toes.
• The AMCATS closed out the first tied at 1 with the wildcats.
• After an uneventful second period. The AMCATS found themselves trailing by 1 with just over two minutes left in the period. Putting JWU up 2-1 going into the third.
• Tobey kicked things off in the third scoring again early in the period to tie the game back up. He was assisted by Derek Raposo.
• Within a minute the AMCATS struck again with a goal scored by Della Paolera assisted by Coulombe and Matt Byrne. Giving Anna Maria the lead at the start of the period. 
• JWU managed to claw back scoring the game tying goal halfway through the third period. 
• After a five minute overtime neither team can find the back of the net and the game ends tied up at 3.
