Coulombe Scores Twice but Men’s Ice Hockey Tripped Up by Skyhawks

AUBURN, MA: The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team took on the Stonehill College Skyhawks at the Horgan Arena on Friday evening.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Junior center Guillaume Coulombe (Ste-Julie, QC) continued his hot start to the season, scoring his fourth and fifth goals and recording his second multi-goal game of the season. His first goal tied the score near the end of the first quarter and was unassisted. The second goal came in the third period and cut the Skyhawks' lead to one with just over 10 minutes remaining in regulation. Nolan Shaw (Peabody, MA) was credited with an assist on the second goal.
• Freshman goaltender Cole Johnston (Regina, SK) recorded 18 saves on 22 shots.
