Field Hockey Falls Short At Rivier

NASHUA, NH : The Anna Maria College field hockey team lost 3-0 at Rivier University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday evening in Nashua.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Anna Maria junior goalkeeper Hannah Tobey (Falmouth, MA) entered the game in relief for the AMCATS and tallied three saves against one goal in 45 minutes.
  • Anna Maria senior midfielder Chayna Bingham-Hendricks (Mashpee, MA) led the AMCATS with two shots, both on goal.
  • Rivier senior goalkeeper Katie Olsen (Saugus, MA) picked up the shutout win with four saves.
  • Rivier sophomore forward Chloe Sicard (Salem, NH) scored the first two goals for the Raiders while freshman midfielder Abby Nadeau (Newbury, NH) scored the third.

 

UP NEXT:

Anna Maria will be back on the field on Saturday when they host Simmons University for a 12:00 p.m. contest. The AMCATS will be recognizing their graduating seniors as part of senior day prior to the game.
