PAXTON, MA : The Anna Maria College field hockey team prevailed 1-0 at Bridgewater State University on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a scoreless first half, the AMCATS would finally strike first when Anna Maria grad student forward Allyson Shaw (Worcester, MA) fed a behind-the-back pass to grad student forward Brittney Cherry (Worcester, MA) for her second goal of the season to put the visitors ahead 1-0.That would hold up for the final score.
- Anna Maria junior goalkeeper Hannah Tobey (Falmouth, MA) finished with eight saves for her second career shutout win.
- Bridgewater freshman goalkeeper Emily Ronan (North Billerica, MA) finished with six saves for the Bears.
