Women’s Volleyball Swats Hornets

LYNDONVILLE, VT : The Anna Maria College women's volleyball team swept Northern Vermont University Lyndon in non-conference action on Friday evening in Lyndonville, Vermont.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anna Maria junior outside hitter Bella Kozciak (Westfield, MA) led the AMCATS with eight kills, a season-high five service aces and five digs.
• Anna Maria junior middle blocker Ryann Hassett (North Oxford, MA) posted five kills, two solo blocks and two aces.
• Sophomore Sarah Burt (Plymouth, MA), pressed into playing setter for the first time in her collegiate career, finished with 13 set assists, six digs, two aces and three kills.
• NVU Lyndon freshman middle hitter Kiana Jones (Wilbraham, MA) led the Hornets with seven kills.
