Volleyball Blanks NVU-Lyndon, 3-0
- LYNDONVILLE, VT: The Anna Maria Volleyball team took three straight sets from the Hornets of Northern Vermont University-Lyndon this Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first set was all about the hitting ability of the AMCATS as they tallied 8 kills through the first set hold the Hornets to 0 kills in the set. Moving forward Anna Maria was on point with their serves as they accumulated a season high 31 service aces throughout the next two sets to take the 3-0 win.
- Hannah Mitchell (Pittsfield, MA) Had her serve going today as she put together a 10 ace day for the 'Cats.
- Cara Bromley (Sutton, MA) came out on top for the game in assists with 9 and a second place finish with 7 service aces.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The AMCATS out hit NVU 14 to 1 in kills.
- They were also able to blow past the Hornets in Service Aces 31 to 2.
- Anna Maria also beat out Lyndon in assists 13 to 1.

- Anna Maria returns to action on the 26th at 7:00 PM in the Fuller Center against Mount Holyoke for another non-conference matchup.
