Women’s Soccer Comes Up Short To Albertus Magnus

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Down 1-0 early in the game, Anna Maria senior forward Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, VT) scored her third goal of the season to tie it up in the 15^th minute.
• Anna Maria senior goalkeeper Rachel Matloff (Grafton, MA) went the distance for the AMCATS, finishing with one save.
• Albertus Magnus senior forward Jordan Kikosicki (East Haven, CT) scored the opening goal of the game in the eighth minute, assisted by midfielder Haley Andrews (Prospect, CT).
• Albertus Magnus senior forward Katherine Raposo (Warwick, RI) scored with 1:09 before halftime for her team-leading eleventh goal of the season. The scored proved to be the eventual game-winner.
• Anderson scored the insurance goal in the 56^th minute, her eighth of the year.
• Albertus Magnus sophomore goalie Nicole Pracon (Derby, CT) picked up the win, stopping six of seven shots by the AMCATS.

UP NEXT:

Anna Maria will be back on the field on Saturday when they host Lasell University for a 5:30 p.m. Homecoming match. The AMCATS will recognize their graduating seniors as part of senior day, prior to the match.
