Women’s Soccer Comes Up Just Short At Elms

CHICOPEE, MA : The Anna Maria College women's soccer team lost 1-0 at Elms College on Saturday in GNAC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anna Maria senior goalkeeper Rachel Matloff (Grafton, MA) and junior goalkeeper Alice Yokabaskas (Farmingdale, ME) combined for nine saves in 90 minutes, surrendering just one goal.
• Anna Maria senior midfielder DeAnna Baker (Lansdale, PA) led the AMCATS with six shots, including three on-goal.
• Elms sophomore goalkeeper Hannah DelGuidice (Oakland, ME) picked up the shutout with 11 saves.
• Elms sophomore forward Gabby Delaney (Chicopee, MA) scored the sole goal of the game just 1:57 before halftime.
