Women’s Soccer Rebuffed At Saint Joseph’s

- STANDISH, ME : The Anna Maria College women's soccer team lost 6-2 at Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday in GNAC action in Standish, Maine.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Anna Maria junior goalkeeper Alice Yokabaskas (Farmingdale, ME) tallied ten saves in just 59 minutes in net for the AMCATS, a personal record.
  • Anna Maria freshman forward Gabrielle Jamerson-Martin (Hiram, ME) and sophomore midfielder Danae DelPrado (Middletown, CT) each found the back of the net for the AMCATS, with both players scoring their first career goals.
  • Saint Joseph's junior Madison Michaud (Presque Isle, Maine) scored twice while senior Maddi Cormier (Bangor, Maine), senior Sama Colatruglio (Mahopac, N.Y.) and freshman Shauna Clark (Oakland, Maine) also scored for the Monks.
