Women’s Soccer Edged By Blue Jays

- PAXTON, MA : The Anna Maria College women's soccer team lost 1-0 against the visiting University of Saint Joseph on Saturday evening at Carposo Field in Paxton, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Anna Maria senior goalkeeper Rachel Matloff (Grafton, MA) completed the near-shutout for the AMCATS, finishing with a season-high ten saves in net and keeping her team in the game.
  • USJ freshman forward Kelsi Ursini (Groton, CT) scored the eventual game-winner in the 39th minute, assisted by junior forward Maxine Muscatello (Berlin, CT).
  • Anna Maria senior midfielder DeAnna Baker (Lansdale, PA) paced the AMCATS with two shots on the day.
